A Tale of Two Street Lights in One Road

Walking along a road in the lovely village of Birkdale on the Lancashire coast recently I was struck by how one street could have such diffrent lights. One exudes charm to complement the splendid red brick houses which Liverpool's Victorian merchants had built ...the other..... . Which do you prefer?
